Guys, anyone had good luck with a parts store product to wax/polish black? My car has lots of swirls and I want to get it cleaned up this weekend. Any thing I should try thats fairly inexpensive?

i used Meguiars 1(medium cut), 205(mirror glaze), and 26(yellow wax) on my black sentra and it came out very good most of the swirls disappeared and stayed havnt returned for about 5 months now. are you using a buffer or by hand?

if by hand. wash with dish soap, clay bar (use the cleaner wax), Meguires ultimate compound, Meguires 7 show car glaze i prefer 3M imperial hand glaze but it can be a PITA on black and is kind of expensive then just a good coat of wax. some of the more experienced detailers may be able to help out more this is just what ive used on my nissan and my firebird.

Makita buffer.
I have wool and foam pads.
Thought I would be moving into my new house this weekend, that didnt happen so I figure I will clean my car up real good.
I happen to have all those Megs products so I guess I wasnt doing too bad to begin with :)

Im going to take my ss spoiler off too because the rear of my car is a disaster paint wise.
The whole thing needs to be repainted but I want to try and hold off until after some motor work.
