I originally did, But I'll most likely keep my Gen I for awhile. I'd like to do a Big Cubed LS based turbo setup down the road....

lol....I've always been a Gen I Carb guy, but the more I read and learn about the LSx based engine and the cheaper they get, the easier I see it's be to build a bore & stroked LQ9 with a turbo and make good power..... Or maybe I strike gold and just buy a Nelson Racing Engines setup and roll around with 1200whp on pump gas..... now that's impressive!

Why not go carbed LT1?? Combine your gen 1 experience with the upgraded gen 2... Think there is a lot of potential for a self built power package.

What he said! I am swapping an lt1 into a 1990 rx7 in the future and am going to be running a blow thru carb with around 11-13psi of boost from a set of turbos shooting for around 650ish at the wheels.. already bought Holley 700cfm carb to convert to blow thru..
Anyways! Welcome to the board; love the ride!

Well yes I could, but I wont because I already have more cubes than I could get with a LT1 Block.......
I have a bore & Stroked 72 400 small block = 427.....lt1 block's largest is 396, correct?
