First off i dont like street racing. And dont support it.

But today i was outside watering my yard. When two guys in a 07 GT turning around at the end of my street. And the driver started reving his motor. Looking at me staring at me next to the TA. And i smiled and shook my head.

He yelled out do you thank your peace of sh!t firebird is faster?! And i yelled YEP! So he said anytime. I said how about now? Pulled out my keys got on my car and started it. Hit the gas a couple times. And smiled at him.

He then took off 3 doors down got out and went inside. And didnt come back out.

Not much of a kill story. But thaught it was dumb and kind of funny.

There are several 4.6's around here. There is a group of 4 army guys that run in a pack all the time. Trying to race people. I raced 2 of them at the track here. And they didnt impress me.both cut a 13.36 and 13.80. I ran best of 11.76 that night.

And one guy was blaming his 13.36 on tire spin. And said he runs high 12 lol. Watched a video of race no tire spin just slow.

Ah yes "the motor the hand of god touched" atleast they will run there cars. Ill keep my LTX. It makes the sting even worse when i beat them:)

I didn't think they'd be fast. Most would have to be forced induction. I'm gonna invite this certain 4.6 to the track n let him watch my LT do work from the opposite lane lol...

I have a 9.5 deck w block afr205 heads and a x-trim with cogs. It will be some were between 400" to 438"
I think I can get it under 2600lbs with me in it.
I hope it will run 7.90/8.00 range.

I miss the 90 notchback coupe that I used to have but even when I drove it everyday I still didnt do silly things like that.
I would have walked up to you and complemented you on your car but then again I do have some measure of class and your neighbor seems to be lacking in that department.
I am waiting to go back to work so I can finish my sons 80 Cobra 5.0 conversion but if I EVER find out he did something like that (Look up Penal Code 187) for the answer.
