Here it is, Ive been going back and forth about doing this for awhile and ive decided to go for it. Basically i have a 1996 z28 M6 with a built 355. Engine has beak in time only, i would guess 500-750 miles. Reason for the part out is i spent the last of my money on an aftermarket computer setup and the speed shop that talked me into it couldnt get it to work and then they went belly up and now i have a car that doesnt run because they used the engine harness to wire the aftermarket computer. And now Im more interested in buying a house then dropping more $ on this car. So that being said I'll list what ive got as far as the aftermarket parts and you can post or pm me if you are interested and we can talk about prices. Aslo if your looking for any stock/interior peices.

The Pistons are L2256F30 and yea you would need an EWP to run this timing chain.

I'm confusted. Is this a full part out, or are you just putting it back to stock?

I'm thinking about getting out completely. Depending on how much of this stuff I can get sold.

Well i hope i dont upset anybody. But shortly after posting this i read green96ta's thread about his 24x conversion kits. And Ive talked to him a couple times and ive gained renewed hope in getting the car running up to its potential. i will have some parts for sale after the swap but im not 100% sure what they will be. Sorry for any inconvienience i may have caused you. But for now im staying in the LTX game. Thanks, Adam

Yea i dont want to get out but it has been a long hard battle with the car. Hopfully the 24x conversion is the missing link and ill be at the shootout next year. After seeing all the pics and threads talking about it. I love this site all all the ppl here are a great group and im looking forward to meeting alot of you at the shootout.

If it doesnt work out Im semi interested in the rotating assembly, at least the rods. Are they 7/16 bolt or 3/8?

red_z28
