This the email i got from Carl last night. I brought up a reserve list and peoples concerns I
I'm sure you will get a lot of responses like that.We have been getting emails from people for quite awhile wanting to know if we will make more.Just like you have:)Well do the the economy and other factors we have been limited on what we have been able to make and sell.If anyone reads our mission statement on our website they will see that we operate on a very little profit margin and when things aren't going good we don't have the funds to make the things we would like to.Some of the products that we made after the LT1's and LS1's didn't sell well at all but we had to hold out and keep selling them to recoup funds to make more products. But the good news is things are getting a lot better now so we are going back to making some of our best sellers. One of them is the LT1 headers and Y and our true dual setup. So if you like you can copy and past this into the forums:)I can start a reserve list for the LT1's the thing is every time I do a reserve list I get like 50 people on the list and when I get them in stock and let everyone know only about 10 of them buy them:(But if you would like to let people know that they can get on a reserve list to be the first one's to get a setwhen we have them back in stock theycansend an email tolpparts@verizon.netwith LT1 reserve in the subject line and we will put them on the list. Thanks, Carl

This is why I asked about a website, because I wanted to contact them about being a sponsor.

Glad to hear LPP is still putting out headers. I am proud to say I picked up a set of LT's back in 2010 and have been running them on the car ever since. Couldn't be more pleased. You guys that are waiting should definitely jump on them when they are released. Great product.

GM blocks my website at work, but I have galleries of my LT1 project at http://www.meissenation.com/ProjectLT1/ - there's galleries in there with pics.
All the Header and Y pictures are of our ver. 1.
I don't have any pictures of the ver. 2 ones that are the ones we are making.
We just made some adjustment on the version 2 ones to fix some fitment issues people had with the version 1 ones.

I hope the dual set-up will work with pacesetters if not I mite invest in those/\/\/\ long tubes also
If possible on your jig, how much more would it be to get a pair made bigger? Like straight 1 7/8"...or even better, 1 7/8"-2".
Sorry no prices yet.
It's been awhile since we made these products and a lot of things have changed but we will still keep the prices as low as possible.
The duals should be out in about 90 days too.
Sorry we can't do custom work.

Can you tell me if these are made in YOUR facility or are these the same imported ones from overseas a few years ago. Just updated this time etc...
Id like to get rid of my SLP headers and y pipe but NOT if they are the imported 304ss ones.
We have our headers made by a small manufacture in Ga. Our headers are made out of 321 Polished Stainless steel.
Between both batches we made in the past the ver1 and ver2 we sold over 400 sets.
To date we have not heard from anyone having any issues at all with these headers.

There website says there made from 321.
Edit never mind you beat me to the punch.
Unlike other manufactures we listen to our customers:)
People had some fitment issues with our first version of the headers.
So we took all the feedback that everyone gave us on what issues they had and re-worked the headers to fix all the issues.
With our version 2 headers all we got was positive feedback on fitment which was nice to hear:)
People just don't realize what it takes to make changes to a header design.
I guess that's why with other manufactures they just tell you to deal with it. And we have heard from a lot of people that that's what other companies have told them.
But we went through the expense of making the necessary changes to the design then making all new jigs to manufacture them.

So ALL current production is done in GA....
I know 1st hand how much a PITA it is to make headers and have done a few turbo setups.(steel stainless , titanium , tig mig , etc..) From scratch and from modified headers.
Im not knocking your product just looking for direct answers to make up my mind before I move on. So what I see on your site of current version 2 is made here in GA. 321 and 100% back purged. jig and manufacture here in the usa.
please feel free to call me PM me if you want my cell phone # any time.

When you were not making them anymore I bought a set of knock off Lpp headers on eBay. Do you think the true duals would fit? Do the dual pipes just stop at the rear axle?
Fastbird

So YOU personally make then in YOUR facility.

I think it was said above that they use a small manufacturer in GA.
Yes, Yes and Yes to FSTFBTY
We haven't sold any of our LT1 headers in over a year well maybe close to two years.
If you bought some on Ebay they were knockoffs.
Ok thanks to the administrator here that PM me I know what the issue is.
When we made our version 1 headers there was a guy that bought a set when we had them in stock and his name was like wan lee and wanted them shipped to Cali. so we sent him a set.
Well about 3 months later there was Chinese knock-offs selling on Ebay. Well the good thing for us was we were already in production of our version 2 headers when his Chinese knockoffs hit ebay.
So everyone that bought our version 2 headers were really happy. Everyone that bought the Chinese knockoffs on Ebay were not :) I guess some people though they were buying our headers but they weren't.

I believe I bought v1 headers and even then my fitment is pretty good. I absolutely love my LPP headers. What I did notice was when I was doing my LT1 swap and had all new poly motor mounts, trans mount, etc that my LPP headers had tons of clearance. Within about 80 miles, I spun two bearings and had to tear the motor out for a rebuild. After the rebuild when I was putting everything back together, I was rubbing on the k-frame. What I think a lot of people don't realize is that there's a LOT of variables in making these headers fit and that even some slightly loosened up motor mounts and trans mount could cause the headers to "sag" against the kframe, even how you put your exhaust together can change the angle of the headers (and hence clearance). I personally have nothing but good things to say about LPP's headers... absolutely love mine and have always recommended them to everyone I encounter talking about headers.

I bought a set of those Chinese knockoffs. I didn't know better at the time. I got into a argument on another forum with someone who insisted that the Chinese knock offs where exactly the same. The fitment of the ones I bought were crappy. I have not bought a set from you guys so not sure how they will vary though.

I got a set of the Ebay ones knowing what the problems were and what not.. The headers are nice once you figure out the fitment issues but the Y-pipe is a bad design.. Doesn't fit right and easy to leak at the clamps.. For $280 shipped I got what I payed for.. I would love to get a set of LPPs and trash these ebay ones or see if someone wants a set of really cheap oil stained stainless headers lol, but I don't have the spare coin right now.. My buddy on the other hand just went on the market for headers, I'll definitely convince him to get some LPPs for sure!
