Some of you guys may have seen this. But think this should be passed along to help prevent this from happening again.

If you have a roll bar or cage please make sure you have adequate padding any were your body has the potential to impact.

Damn. Just damn. Really makes you think. I was intent on putting my son in the back of the car once I get the cage in (removeable tie bar) so he can ride along every now and then, but this makes me question even the thought of it.

i posted this because i know there are a lot of guys that do drive there stuff on the street. and it seams to be commonly overlooked item.
if this save just one life its worth it.

i do have sfi padding. but i will be looking over it to see if there is anything that can be improved on.

But lets also keep in mind... the cage may have been to blame for his head trama in this situation... however the impact was so severe, that odds are if he had no cage it would have been the striking vehicle that killed him.. If that makes sense...
