So this is my 97' Sebring silver Z28. I bought this car back in August of 2008. The car had about 62,000 miles and it was bone stock. So I have done just about everything to this car. 396 Lt1 stroker from golen motorworks, busted a viper 3 trans proceeded to get a level 6 t56 trans, 3 1/2" aluminum drive shaft, moser 12 bolt with 4.11 gears. BMR lowering springs, chrome moly adj pan hard par, chrome moly adj control arms, chrome moly adj torgue arm, rear sway bar, strut brace bar. hooker long tube header hooker ory-pipe, no cats, SLP loudmouth 1 cat back exhaust system. Rk sport rear spoiler, wingswest bodykit, fiberconcepts SS hood. SLP CIA, Slp skip shift eliminator, SLP 160* thermostat. Billet aluminium Ram flywheel and Ram Powergrip clutch. OEwheels 18x10.5 C6 Z06 wheels on the rear with 295/35/18 BFgoodwrich t/a kdw 2 and 18x9.5 C6 Z06 wheels on the front with 255/35/18 Bfgoodwrich t/a kdw 2. Slotted and cross drilled rotors up front and in the rear. Holly 58mm TB. The motor is all forged, AFR 195 cc heads, comp cam comp rockers, cam specs are .050 236/242 Lift 555/576 LSA 112. Engine dyno's at just over 550 hp. ported and polished intake manifold. Egr ANd AIR deleted. Hurst short throw shifter, about to install A-piller gauge cluster. in three weeks the car is goes in for a complete overhaul, stripped down and repainted (keeping it sebring silver)

well guys thats it for now...the car sits for a few more days missing its trans till this is delivered. I shimmed my starter, about to install my a-pillar gauges , get the engine bay detailed (no water being used on that process) and and then August 31st it goes to paint.

102771027810279even more reasons why the car needs to go to the body shop. things dont line up right. the car spent 11 months off the road with this engine swap 350 to a 396, rear change from a stock 10 bolt 2.73 gears to a 12 bolt 4.11 gears, suspension upgraded, brakes upgraded, stock trans was upgraded to a stage 3 t56 (bent main shaft)- required an even better trans. Also with paint after 11 months the car got banged up here and there to add to the list of body repairs needed

11249picked up this front bumper cover, the other day. After speaking with the body shop, that is painting my car, they informed me that they could fill in the camaro front emblem but it could crack over time. So I picked this up. Also deiced to go with with black mirror rear "CAMARO" letters and black mirror Z28 badges for the berger panel and front fenders.

No more fender and door molding....thank god i hated that. Out with the OEM badges in with the black mirror stainless badges and rear CAMARO letters from emblempros. the nose is gone, to replaced by a aftermarket nose that doesnt have the front camaro emblem in ' on it. rear spoiler and side ground effects came of today as well. The SS that is on this car will be replaced by an OEM ss hood off a 97' SS. Doors, fenders, and berger panel, rear bumper cover and front and rear windshields come off tomorrow.

Thanks guys, it has been a very long process. This body shop visit even with time I've put in to it is costing 7500.00 to do. Soon i will be able to devote my undivided attention to the SS.

Well guys the majority of the car is done. All that's left is what you see that needs to be sprayed, put back together, final wet sanding and buffing. the front bumper cover still needs to be cut into and the black gloss applied, where it was on the previous bumper.

Great news everyone, all the parts have been officially painted and are ready to be put back on the car. Also got most of the new window and door molding in today. To my suprise on how over cast it was today, one photo i took still shows my reflection. so here are the photos from today, I was not able to get photos of the hood, seeing that it was in the paint booth drying.

Well guys the car is 99% complete all that is left to do is put the silver front bowtie on, the rear and fender badges, and front marker blackouts. Bringing her home tomorrow before the next storm comes our way. Here are some photos I took today I'll upload more photos tomorrow.

Thanks guys, i wish you all the best luck with your projects. Im glad this one is done, its time for me to focus on the SS with its supercharged 427 ls7 build.. I'm a bit tired and I need a break, but i plan on getting things rolling with that car in the late winter months. Found out the car has no 5th gear so the trans is where i will start.

Got some caliper covers for the Z. Here are some before and after photos I took of the rear calipers. I still have have to put the fronts on. Now that I think about it I should have gotten the ones that have "camaro" engraved into them. Oh well I guess the SS will get that.

thanks man, they are mgp caliper covers. http://www.calipercovers.com/ hope that helps, they cleaned up the rear and front calipers being that I didnt go with an upgrade kit
