Ok... here is the idea of this thread... Recently I joined another forum (based on tahoes yukons escaladex) & found a great bunch of people over there. Its a community just like ours but for big suvs, without all the BS of that other site....

Anyways they have a thread to post pics of cool SPOTTED rides. Not pics found on line, but real spotted rides. Its neat so I figured we could do the same...

Im going to go cruise the local strip on saturday. Ill bring the camra with me. Its been really crappy this year though. not sure where everyone is hiding. I heard last year the cops really cracked down on everyone.

hahaha. Nah they are just doing there job it is what it is. My area is pretty crazy they have an area where they used to do a ton of street racing and the cops used to turn a blind eye to it for a very long time. then there started to be a lot of accidents and they really cracked down from what I heard.I only went there once it was not something I really wanted a part of or to be associated with.

I hear you on that. Here in the Detroit, MI area the hot spot for cruising is Woodward Avenue (place of the world's largest biggest 1 day car cruise - the Woodward Dream Cruise). The LEO's like to come through many of the parking lots and kick people out - I sometimes think it's because the speeding ticket and/or drag racing ticket gets a bigger fine than a $20 parking violation ticket. :jest: But no disrespect meant to LEO's - the place I park is in good standing with the local law enforcement and they very, very rarely come in and hassle us -- only if we have a big crowd, which I can understand.

Wasn't exactly spotted yesterday, but I took a pic when I came across this. I waited around on the guy and talked to him. Was an older farmer. Had a straw had on. Certainly wasn't what I expected, but he was cool. Said he's fixing to get a magnaflow setup for it. I see the car driving around from time to time, but he still hasn't gotten any exhaust on it.

No it was a T-Top 4th gen. Under 150k and I think it was $2k obo with the rims. The wife likes the salad shooters and might have paid for half the car selling the rims and finding a used set.

You are probably right but I think they have to do quite a bit of suspension work to get those wheels to fit so that may have taken up all the money from the wheels.

Thinking back, I thought I asked him on the one on CL. Recalling something like it had 20s and he went narrow and had front rubbing with no lift.

Some of them donks down on little creek rd, when I have to get on that road to begin with, have like 2' lifts to get wheels under them...

Saw this today. 94 z m6. Guy was an older gentleman that didn't have a PC. The car was his nephews and his nephew got killed in a car accident. He bought it from his nephews wife and it was all taken apart. He put it all back together, I didn't dare ask if he wanted to sell it.

Just a few pics I have from Dallas Raceway back on Oct. 20. The old school dragster was pretty awesome, an older guy who looked to be late 60s/early 70s running it. The car in the last 2 pics was badass, guy was popping wheelies every run and keeping it in the 9s every time.

Bro... that is a Hyundai Genesis. I bought one for Mrs Popo a few years agom we got the track pack... 19 inch rims... brembo big brakes... 3.8 v6 306 hp... and still pulls 29mpg while beating on it all day long... and 14.3s in the 1/4 .... :)
