Hey guys, what is the name of this part? mine is very rusted and I want to replace it

Don't know if you'd be able to find that for sale. Not sure what the exact name of the bracket is. Is it just surface rust or is it rusted through? If it's just surface rust, pop the bracket off, take some sandpaper to it, and then spray paint it with some rustoleum.

Prolly doesnt even have a name, would have to go to youre local GM dealership and have them sift through the blown up diagrams of the car. Might take awhile if they dont know what they are doing. Would have to describe the location and maybe even take a pic (you already have) of the part.

Im with Brian on this one, take it out if you can without destroying it.... sand it down nice, and paint it with some rustoleum.... Not much cost wise, and it will look just as good after and serve the same purpose.

Take that pic with you when you go to the gm dealer hawks third gen probly can get you one email them a pic . I would sand blast it if you have that choice then paint it .

How soon do you need one? We have a parts car out back that I figure has that part in good shape (best part about living in the south) I won't be home until next weekend but if your willing to pay shipping I will send it to you. Pm me if interested
