NMCA's coming to Joliet this weekend. It's the NMCA and NMRA Superbowl. If you have a chance come out, I'll be representing LTX's again in the open comp class. Its a huge event with some badass cars and damn good racin. Come out and say hi, mention your from LTXTech and I may even have some beers in the cooler for ya!

What are the rules for open comp?

None really must meet nhra rules.for cars et domestec built and et between 8-15 seconds. Make 3 passes 2 on friday and 1 saturday. Subtract 1/10 from best et and thats your index for the weekend. Handicapped start 5/10 pro tree. Full rules are on nmcas website.

I was WAYYY out past the scoreboards under the power lines on the road closest to the track. Got a new PB durring testing and it ended up being my index for the weekend. I figured I already won cause if I broke out it meant I improved on my new best for the car. I qualified 15th of 43 cars with a .014 light .500 pro tree. First round of eliminations and damed if it didn't go faster puttin me on the trailer!! New best of 11.12 @ 124 on at 11.13 index! 60' was in the mid 1.6's but with only 2 test passes before qualifying I didn't have time to adjust my shocks, it's got mid 1.5's in it (was goin 1.54's last season). I also learned my clutch is starting to slip at the top of 4th, the wrenching never ends.
