Has anyone ever used dart lt heads? I'm curious I saw they sell them but just curious if anyones ran them ever?

Btw my nephew made the title of this post not me...felt like getting him excited about cars lol.

Never seen them used but wanted to say nice getting your nephew into cars. We are a dying breed especially ltx people

Im getting a set of 200cc Dart Pro 1 heads ported for my 396 LTx build A lot of people will bash em & say only good if ported But theyll put down decent numbers out of the box GM High Tech did a shootout on LT1 heads Google em & make up your own mind Ive always had good luck with Dart Still pissed they didnt do a big bore block lol

Theres also a 396 sbc build that made 603hp with ported 200cc Pro 1s Terry Walters did that build on Chevy high performance A guy on Tech has 180cc LT1 Darts ported with 541hp to the wheels Thats with a 383 LTx Just save & get the good parts for everything So those cheap cast eagle cranks dont leave a bad taste in your mouth

Thanks warrior...I am using scat forged internals for my 383 just looking for a nice set of heads I mean I know the most used are afr and trickflows for ltx engines. So its nice to know that someone has used these...but you're running a manual aren't you?

Gonna run a 4L80E with a 3200 to 3600 nitrous stall converter :) Got 2 stages so far Prolly a Direct Port next Editted the one post Ole boy has 541rwhp on a 383 LTx on tech Hes prolly on here too

My heads are at TWPE right now gettin larger intake valves & hand ported Hope my heads flow as well as the heads in the CHP build :) I will post some #s for ya if your still interested :)

FWIW your stock heads in the right hands will make far more power than unported darts for the same or less $$

Truth^. AI and Lloyd Elliott are great. I went with LE. Stock heads can make good power if massaged right, and for a lot less money.
