Well, for the past month to two months.. my "Service Engine Soon" light has been coming on, then going off. It has come on during an idle and while I'm driving. The reason why I haven't worried about it is because it will eventually go off after coming on for about 2 minutes.. max.

Today, I went to a shop that has a OBD1 scanner and they told me that OBD1 does not store codes.. so in order for me to see why its coming on.. they'll have to scan it WHILE the problem is happening. I thought OBD1 logged its previous codes? Pretty sure I read that somewhere.

I don't experience missing or anything like that while its off or on. It rides better now at 97K miles than it did at 57K miles lol. I've replaced just about everything.

I figured maybe a sensor is coming loose.. so connection goes in and out? Like.. the knock sensor in the block or an 02?

that's what i heard too, so i stopped by an "Advance Auto Parts" and they said they didn't have to capability. I'll check Autozone tho..
and that's if OBD1 logs previous codes
