ok so its a 1995 camaro just did headers exhaust ovtc wires new waterpump and opti. car was running AMAZING for over 5 weeks wasdriving around alot today and on my last stop i got in my car started it up started fine. started to driving away and kept wasing to die when i gave it gas. theres also a whining coming from the rear. my guess is fuel pump any other sugestions? mind you im in st. louis and its been about 103 deg all day

Could be a whole list of things for your car wanting to die.... IMO the firstthing you should check would be your fuel pressure, then if that doesn't crossoff the fuel pump being the culprit, start checking other things... How manymiles are on the alternator? If it's old thats probably what's taking a dump onyou.... And as far as your rear end, check your fluid level and make sure it'sfull and you don't have a leak, the good ol'e ten bolt is probabaly on it'slast leg lol

I understood the whine coming from the rear as the fuel pump whinning when it runs on a dry tank......

have you put gas in the car in the last 5 weeks ...sorry i had too. top off the tank and if it still does it i would start with doing a volt check and it thats good prolly the pump

Hows the fuel psi?
