Thanks, I will and shall always remain safe...
I forgot to mention that I was fitted for all new gear, helmet, boots, jacket, pants, gloves, hood, the whole works.
They are even putting this probies name on the back of his jacket, which doesn't happen to the new comers, but since I was a intern for 2 years they felt sorry for me, I even got to select my locker. lol

How did you get on to intern for the Dept?

I always thought you had to take the civil service exam, and just pray until they hired you... Im in Mass though, Im sure things are different for each state though. I will be taking the civil service exam the next time it comes around (1 and 1/2 years from right now, I think).
