Getting new phone...what to get?

Its finally time for a new phone and im stuck on what to get. Im torn between the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the DROID Razr , and the HTC Rezound. I have had the OG DROID which I loved. I now have a DROID 2 which was awesome until the 4.5.621 update which caused me to lose root and in turn the pure awesomeness that was Liquid Gingerbread.

I absolutely love the build quality of the Motorola phones. My D1 and D2 have lasted through so much abuse and torture. I also really really like the Samsung's screen. The Resound is also pretty cool hardware wise(GF's dad has one and he really like it alot.).

TL;DR Getting new phone what should I get?

Although if you wait a little bit, the S3 is about to be released.

I have the Rezound, my wife just got the Galaxy Nexus. Razr was a no go for both of us, too funky.

I LOVE my Rezound, and I hate my Rezound. My battery life sucks, and I'm on my second phone and it's having battery life issues now, and I FIRMLY believe it's all due to the damn bloatware verizon puts on it (Location Agent anyone). The phone has the fastest processor (1.5ghz vs. 1.2ghz for the others), an INCREDIBLE screen, is thicker and more weighty than the others which is a plus for me too. It's very quick and responsive, but I do NOT like the HTC Sense interface. I rooted my first Rezound and it was a BEAST, but the damn battery issues just plagued it and this one. A 1600 mah battery just doesn't cut it for a 4g phone. There's a 2750 mah battery but it adds a lot of thickness to the phone which is a bummer. I'll probably root and install an ICS leak on this one before jumping ship though, I just love the phone too much. A true 1280x720 display, highest pixel density on the market (suck it Iphone 4 fanboys).

My wife's Galaxy Nexus is NICE. No bloatware, ICS is schweet, but it feels light and flimsy. The backplate is loose after one removal and reinstallation, right around the camera lens. ICS is dang quick though, and there's like NO bloatware on the phone at all. Really good display though it's wider than the Rezound which I believe pulls the pixel density down some. Still a really nice picture though. The ICS face identification is cool though.

Some comparison stuff though. The rezound has the charging port on the side of the phone, and it comes with 16gb internal storage and a 16gb micro SD card. The charging port on the side is great for dock and usage purposes since it's not all in the way. The Nexus on the other hand, has the charging port at the bottom of the phone. TERRIBLE if you're plugged in and trying to play a game, text, etc and hold the phone in your hands. Rezound buttons on the sides are nearly flush, and not easily pressed. Nexus buttons stick out and are easily pressed.

IF I decide to give up my Rezound, I'll move the the Nexus or SIII.

I'm big on my HTC vivid she's been a good reliable phone. Definitely dropped it like 3-4 times out my truck and she's survived without the case. The camera takes some sick pictures ill give example. And has beats audio built into it for when you connect headphones or aux cables.

I have a droid razr and I love it. Upgraded from an x2 that took a ton of abuse. Only thing I miss about it is the rubberized coating. I had to buy a thin silicone sleeve for the razr because it is pretty slippery without it.

That ks for the replies everyone. Fastbird thanks for the breakdown of everything. It helps knowing what they're like to live with. Ill play with them a bit more before I decide way to get.

Now im stuck between the Resound and Nexus. I like the nexus because I love vanilla Android as opposed to the MOTOBLUR and HTC Sense. But then again im probably going to root it right away so it wouldn't really matter anyway.

I would get a Samsung Galaxy S3 because I LOVE LARRY's S2! It is amazing! If it can do what the S2 does and its even better it is soooo worth it! IMO <3

HTC HD7 here. Does everything I need it to and then some. The App store has thousands of apps, but missing quite a few popular things simply because it is a Windows Phone and will not have that version of certain things since no one makes them. The market is expanding like crazy though. Great pictures, etc.

i got the Razr MAXX and love it! best android phone in my opinion. and you cant beat the battery life. only have to charge ever 2-2.5 days.

Ok so after so more thinking and actually holding the phones ins my hand the Rezound easily takes the cake for ergonomics at least for me personally. The RAZR is just way to thin for my taste and I feel like I will break it. The Nexus felt good to but I still feel its too thin. The Rezound has a good weight to it and it feels very nice to hold. I don't mind it being a bit thicker im used to my D1 and D2 because of the slide out keyboard. In a side to side comparison the Rezound has the sharpest screen by far the Samsung has a bit more saturation but the Rezound is much more clear especially in bright areas. As for the battery life issues I will probably be getting the extended battery for it again I don't mind added weight and thickness for userfriendliness(sp) and battery life.
I went to the VZW store store today and was going to get it but they can't match the online price from their own website for some reason... so im ordering it from the website for $79.99 as opposed to 199.99 ;)
