Picking up a new little toy

Tonight I may finally be picking up a new toy for my self ;) in the form of a 1990 Miata :devil: I'm getting it from my buddy who got it from his friend not running. I made a joke one day saying I would double the money he has in to the car($100) and buy it from him and he actually said yes lol. So for a whopping $200 I'll have a little bright red sports cars :D I love the B6 engines. I had the B6T in my old 323 GTX( AWD, Turbo hatch back with a 5spd and locking diffs weighed ~2400lbs soaking wet and had ~200 hp) and I miss it quite a bit.

The one I'm getting is Red, Black top and black interior. And comes with newish tires mounted on some newer MX-5 wheels. Not gonna lie but I'm excited :devil:

I almost got a blue one. I like the early flip up headlight cars. Not crazy about the later fixed headlight versions. Post up pics

i have always like the miata and similar cars like the sky and solstice . They are a lot of run to drive. It is a shame they bashed so much.

Todays is the day I finally brought it home lol. I almost forgot how small it is...but then again my DD is 7.5' tall and just shy of 20' long. The Miata needs a bit of work. Mostly a good through cleaning. there is a very small dent on the Driver fender and a n even smaller one on the headlight cover. The tires are fairly new and have plenty of life in them.
