no spark but got power going to the distributor need help

ok so i checked the plugs and had no spark. worked my way back no spark after distributor but after the coil got power. the distributor rotor rotates and everything is hooked up correctly so im sure of. the distibutor is brand new from msd confused please help

It is possible. Do your injectors pulse? Have you checked you ICM?

I believe the injectors pulse and ICM I haven't checked

Is the coil putting out spark or does it just have the +12v at the harness with the key on?

Coil puts out spark, found something else out my wires connected to the distributor are shorted to ground but when the PCM is connected. So I have a short in the PCM I think took it apart and its fine gonna look further
