What I've been up to lately, house remodel thread.

This is why I haven't posted a lot lately (not that I did to begin with).
Bought another house, the one I'm in right now is OK but I bought it because it was cheap and close to home. New one is a lot farther out of the city, where its nice, quiet, and neighbors don't give a shit about anything.

Bought house for $75k, appraised for $125k last year. Was a repo, they didn't tear it up when they left, but it did need lots of plumbing work, had some water damage in a bathroom, needed a remodel and some TLC pretty bad. Its 1500sq ft, 2car garage (heated and insulated), 200amp service, 3br, 2bath, and sits on about 4 acres (1/3 of that is wooded), has a 28x30 pole barn with 10 ft ceilings and concrete floor with a drain and 220v service out there (only 60amps, not perfect but I'm not gonna complain). Been working on it non stop every chance we (me and girlfriend) get since we got it. It's the perfect house for us, its 10 minutes away from town, but far enough out where I can shoot guns, work on the car at 2am, play with 4 wheelers, etc. My goal is to have $83k in it total when finished, so far I'm at $80k and all I have left is paint a room, put carpet in, and redo a bathroom (just a new tub and toilet, it can wait though).

Needed new flooring on the shower side, and my buddy and I redid all the plumbing in the crawl space with PEX.

Thanks! It's kind of a 2nd hobby lol. I wanna jump on the pole barn so bad it's not funny! Put up more lights, outlets, get my welder and tools out there, lift comes with tax check, but the house comes first. I can't wait to finish it. Might go look at stoves and fridges tonight. Not gonna lie, It wouldn't be near as far as it is without Lacey.
