Has the car ever been wrecked?

Are they installed correctly? Not meaning offence but you have to make sure the little channel pieces that overlap aren't pinched. Also make sure it lines up with the other seals and window placement. If its too far to the inside the window won't seal up properly. You say the seals aren't that old did you replace all the seals or just part cause if you don't replace all the seals you risk them not sealing properly. Lastely I'm not sure on the procedure but the ttops do have adjustments I never messed with them on my ws6.

the seals are 4 yrs old. and they are still very soft, like they should be. i didnt know there are adjustments on them, and as for the car being wreaked, it was in a rear section, there is bondo there, but i cant find nonting really wrong with frame, or even took all the panels of on the inside and it seems to be just dents that they filled in. But whom knows. i did check the seals and they over lapped like the should be also..thanks for the advice.

Your welcome. Also is your window rolling all the way up and on track correctly? I had to use vasoline in the rubber track at the mirrors on my z as it would stick at the top just barely not all the way up. My driverside was slightly off track and leaked because of that. That would be what I would look at also check your drain lines in the seals. If its stopped up the water has nowhere to go and will flood under the ttop. Or so I've heard on that last one.

I was just about to post a similar question about my Z. I just replaced the weatherstripping and adjusted the t-tops slightly tighter and it still leaks just as bad while I wash the car. Now I know some of this has to do with the higher pressure of the car wash, it hasn't rained yet so I can't say if it keeps rain out. But my window motors are pretty shot. Drivers side will not go back up, passenger side is just slow and weak. I am hoping that the motors are just too weak to push up against the seal properly. I have new motors coming in this week, as well as the window fix kit from autotrix, so if there is any adjustments I should do while the door panel is off can someone let me know? I'm also going to do the fix on the motor itself, to eliminate the safety stop feature that contributes to killing the motor prematurely. Thanks for any help and sorry to hijack.
