(Sorry about the help icon the mobile app puts it there)
Just wondering if anyone here cleans there fbody as much as I do? All three fbodies I've owned are washed and detailed once a week and waxed every week or every other week. I wash them with dawn every couple of months to clean off old wax and rewax them. I only buy mothers and meguirs for cleaning products, invisible glass for the windows, and rain x and fog x for obvious reasons.

Only use micro fiber rags. You may see a couple things that are armor all products but those were a gift. Oh and my drill I use my powerball products with lol. Oh and wenol for my metal polish. How ocd are you?
Edit - almost forgot I use meguirs quick detailer throughout the week if it gets too dirty lol. It gets cleaned almost as much as popo posts on here.

Wish I had a pic of me and my buddy's detailing bag. Stuffed with 3M products, Wolfgang wax, KLASSE polish/sealant, paint cleaner, quick detailer, and a porter cable 7424xp with a million pads. Looks like you have a nice set up there! When I daily'd my car it used to be washed and waxed/detailed once a week at least. Past few years it is in hibernation being started up rarely, washed maybe twice a year. The shine is still there ;)
lol@popo post reference :P

I want a porter cable setup but I always end up buying something for the car instead of one of those lol so I'm still low tech but the love is there lmao.

I used to detail at least once every 1-2 weeks, but the car was garage kept. Now, it's more like a wash every 1-2 weeks and cleaning bird poo off as it appears. It SUCKS not having a garage.

Yep it sucks not having a garage. What sucks worse is working out of town and the car stays at my moms so no one messes with it and her house is a cat magnet. Im always finding new scratches and cleaning cat prints off it

Ive always kept all my cars spotless inside and out but only recently have I started maintaining my paint. I been working part time at a body shop since January so every once in a while Ill wash it with dawn, hit the whole car with some compound and a foam pad then wax it with whatever is around. It looks amazing for factory 94 paint.

When ever it gets dirty enough to warrant it, I need to clay and wax it this week. But I try and daily drive the C6 when I am home. I let the Trans Am sit way to much and never drove it the last 7-8 years, was a mistake, so trying to not do the same with the C6.

When I DD it I'd wash it every other day and it would get waxed at least once a month. Since it's always been garage kept I was really just getting it wet and washing off the dust from driving it! Now that it stays in the garage ALL the time unless we're at a race it gets a wash before and after the event. I wax it maybe twice a year. I spend more time cleaning my DD truck, is has to sit outside and I swear red attracts birds with a full gut. It gets washed every couple of days by hand in the driveway and waxed every few weeks, waxing depends on how the water looks as I'm using the absorber to dry it! I use Meguiars car wash and Gold Class liquid wax. Take wax off with a 100% cotton terry towel and follow up with a microfiber. The Stoner brand Invisible Glass in the aerosol works awesome on windows and is tint safe. I use one towel to wipe the cleaner around on the glass and a second to remove it! I use the glass cleaner to clean up the interior and the wheels after the tire wet goes on, you can recycle the dry glass cleaning towel for that!

Its impossible to keep them clean so regular car duster action between washes which occur. 2-3 times per week

Oh almost forgot invisible glass also makes an awesome cloth cleaner but only the aerosol version. Learned that from my dad. Just like dollar store oven cleaner will clean the crap out anything under the car that has oil/grease on it
