lt1 cutting out and randomly shutting off?

Hey guys. Recently my lt1 started having some problems. The other day it started cutting out at higher rpms randomly and I thought maybe it was missing. But is started to get worse and felt like the engine wasn't getting enough gas and the cutting out pretty much got worse and started even in low rpms. Then it started to just shut off randomly. I would pull over and crank it again and after a while it would start up again. Then shut down at Random times. Every time it would shut down the service engine soon light would come on. Never had this problem with a lt1 before so I have no idea. Some friends said maybe like a fuel pump or something. Just would like your opinion.

You need to get the codes off the computer and post them online. you can check the fuel pressure with a gauge you can get at any part store and it just connects to the fuel rail. I would check all your grounds shbox.com will have diagrams for you. Also check the connection to your battery and make sure it is good.
