I know this depends on a lot of factors like where people live. But just looking for input:).

My Trans Am is a 94 non t-top

Texas Drivetrain Performance stage 2 M6(1,500 miles)
Spec stage 2 clutch(1,500 miles)
31 spline 9 inch with 4:11 gears
Suspension:
BMR springs
KYB shocks
BMR adjustable upper/Lower A Arms
UMI SFC
Billet rod end rear control arms
Rod end Panhard Bar
Adjustable torque arm w/ reloction crossmember.
BMR swap bars

Brakes:
Stock rears with RPM speed rotors hawk pads
C5 fronts with RPM Rotors and Hawk pads(spindles powder coated)
SS Lines front and rear
ABS Delete
C5 rims with 315 rears/275 fronts

Interior:
95 Trans Am graphite interior
With recovered seats.
New headliner/ sunvisors

Body needs paint due to age and white Trufiber ram air hood.(did LS1 air box mod)

Car runs awesome and I love it. But wife thinks I need something different over the kid and all.

And wife said I could get an SRT8 charger. But wants me to dump the bird first. So were not paying insurance on 4 cars( I got my nova but that car dies with me. lol

Any ideas or input would be great

Ow and mods. Not trying to sell just looking for input:)

Seems like they are worth $30 bucks these days. I have had my 97 for sale for a few months at $7,500 with 75,000 miles and have not seen any real interest.

I know makes me sick. Everything I've listed. Is crap I've put on it over the last 11 months since I bought it. Minus the short blocks. But I did the top end intake, ignition and exhaust on it. Don't even want to add up how much I have tied up in her.

Several years ago I sold the first f body I ever owned. Prior to selling it I pulled the rebuilt engine (one in my sig) and the t56 that I had swapped in. I put a low mileage stock engine and auto trans back in and sold it for $4k with 110k on the odometer. It had just been given the El Presidente special from Macao so it was pretty much clean inside and out. I probably had $5k i. Engine and trans alone. There was no way I could have got over $6k for it together. If you're handy with a wrench and don't want to throw away all that money, consider swapping in stock parts and sell off your goodies.

im handy with a wrench. and build me own cars because im the only one i trust lol. But to be honest. i would have to hunt down all the parts. and lt1s go for 1000 plus around here in rebuildable shape. i would have to spend way to much to get it down to stock form. so its an all or nothing thing lol.

$1000?! That's insane. There's turnkey lt1s for $500 and under all day long around stl. Matter of fact, the last one i bought was a 60k mile engine trans combo with wiring harness for $800. I could see not wanting to spend more money to get less on the sale. I just hate taking beatings. Just set your price where you want it and stick to your guns. If it doesn't sell, blame the economy. What could your wife say to that?

There isn't manny lt1's around my parts. F-bodies in general are slim pickings. Figure if I do decide to sell. I will set a firm price.

Honestly maybe 4 or 5g at least in my neck of the woods. every once and a while you see on listed for 7+ but they don't seem like they sell. The problem is they sell for blue book on a stock car regardless of mods because most people are going to assume it was ragged on or not built right any way regardless of the truth.

Your lucky you can even get an lt1 around you. I never see lt1 engines on cragslist and non of the local junk yards have any ever. they all tell me the local shops all have dibs on them so when they come in they pull them and send them out with in a day. I had to buy mine though ebay. I paid 1500 for engine with all wiring accessories and computer and transmission.

And that what sucks. I got 4 grand just in the rear and tranny. And I pamper this car better then my wife. But nobody is going to know that. There just going to see a car that's been built up. And assume I drive it hard.

I kinda put my foot down this morning and told the wife. I will take a huge hit selling the car. And I'm not going to do that. Plus I love this car. Can't tell you how many nights I spent in the garage frezzing my butt off working on this car. Or the amount off blood lost from banging myself up on it.

Understood. Some things just aren't worth getting rid of.
