So I got my car actually idling cold today. But I don't think I did it right. I dumped a BUNCH of enrichment in via the ATS Correction table. I don't like this idea after some research due to that it's an always on type of thing whether the car is warmed up or not. So obviously fuel is the issue at this point to me as the TB seems to be dialed in quite nice at warm idle.

For those of you familar with tuning the XFI, and who might have a little more aggressive setup, how do you have your cold start enrichment set up? I'm going to try basically maxing out my After start vs. CTS and After start Decay tables to get as much fuel in as long as possible to get it warmed up. Is this the proper way to go about it? Once it's warm all the base ve table spots seem to be dialed in good so I'm feeling it's got to be in the correction factors right?

Some more info on this, it's not airflow based unlike I thought back in November. If I don't have the extra fuel in and I try to use the throttle to keep the car running, it lean cuts like a mofo and dies anyway. So it's definitely fueling related.

I think what I'm going to do tonight after I get off work is undo the ATS Correction and hit it hard with the After Start vs. CTS and the decay table to help keep it in farther. Tony, Taner, anyone else good with an XFI........is this where I should be headed? I am hoping so because the system logic just suddenly seemed to make sense to me today when I was playing with it.

Sean I am sorry, I just noticed this thread. You get it all figured out?

Tony, I did actually. It had no cold start fuel. I actually need to go in and mess with Franks tune because even in warmer temps yesterday, the car barely idled and stalled the first time I tried to start it. I just need to crank up the after start vs. cts table and turn the decay rate down some so it stays in longer. I hate to say it but I'm actually getting kind of comfy working with some of these quirky XFI tables at this point. Both the FAST rep I spoke to and Frank at PSI told me that I seem to have a really good grasp of the system, but I sure as heck don't feel like it.

Once you get the hang of it you will really notice how bad ass the XFI really is. So many cool things you can do with it.

Once you learn to adjust the graphs, Like Tony says, its actually really user friendly, Do only one adjustment at a time so you know what its doing, If you try to make more than one adjustment and not sure of which one is causing what, You will be chasing your tail round and round...
