I am dropping the Vette off at the local Chevy dealer in the morning and they are going to strap her to the dyno and tune on her. Any predictions? I will list all the mod's "wich isn't much" but none the less its more than stock.

Who ever had it before me gutted the cats and the MAF honeycomb was gone.
First thing I did was a cam swap, I put a Comp cam cc503 in it but left the stock 1.5 rockers and springs.
I cut the air lid and went on the hunt for a set of 1.6 rockers and LS bee hive springs.
I played with the car like that for a while but wanted more and since the big motor for the Camaro is in the machine shop I figured I would throw a little money at the driver.
I saved up a little money so I could do the 1.6's, springs, K&N air filter, an MSD 6AL box and coil, and an air wedge for the throttle body. Finally *BAMB* there it was all the parts I wanted and now let the thrashing begin, after lots of bloody knuckles and lots of cussing everything is on the car and running. But wait ------ now this thing is a PIG!!!!!! I just don't get it all that work and pride in what I was doing and it runs like garbage. I ran it by the local Lt1 guru's and we have come to the conclusion that it needs a tune bad because of the changes I have made. Ok off my soap box I am done that is all.

I am thinking maybe upper 200's at the tire if I am lucky,oh and its a M6 car full exhaust stock mufflers.

I never seen a car dealer with a dyno but that is pretty sweet. Good luck. BTW I think a full bolt on car (intake and exhuast) plus the cc503 with the proper drivetrain and a good tune. Saying everything else is running good you should net morethen upper 200s. I am going to say about 330ish wheel.

Man that would be sweet the north side of 300 but I'm not getting my hopes up. It is pretty cool them having a dyno they have only had it for maybe two or three months. they have alot of experiance running around that place, I hope they can make some good numbers.

The stock mufflers will hold you back a tad. All things in sync, after tuning, you'll definitely see north of 300 if everything is in sync.

Believe he mentioned they were changed out.

I re-read that and I believe you are correct. Its a little confusing.

Yah you need a tune badly if you havent done so yet. your AFR is going to be off with a cam and your shift points wont really be right if its an A4.

There is a Dodge dealership here in Texas that has a Dyno, They bought it for the Vipers, No tuning, just mainly for show. I use to rent it from them for dyno tuning, The old manager was really cool about it, then they got a new manager and he was a prick, needles to say, I don't dyno tune there anymore...

well results are in!!!!!! The first pull it made 285.5 second pull it jumped to 299.4 and the third pull it made 304.4 I'm a happy man. The guy that tuned on the car said the manifolds and the exhaust was really killing the car he said it would make at least 20 to 30 more HP with that stuff changed. Thats next on the list. I'm still tickled to death. the torque was pretty flat across the whole RPM range, it made 296.7

Oh! I thought you had headers on there too! Yeah, that'll pick up a TON of HP across the board. Good results man.

Well it rained its ass off today and the car was NO fun to drive but yesterday was awesome, I had the techs at Gwatney charge the ac so they kept it over night so on Wed night I was like a kid on X-mas eve. I had a PT test yesterday morn and scored a 91.3 "the best I have scored in 13 years" so that started my day off really good then I went to pick up the car. I spoke with James for a few the jumped in and fired her up, put a big smile on my face and headed for work. When I pulled out I hit the traction control button and nailed it at maybe a 20mph roll and blew the tires off thru first and second eased it up into third gear and with a big grin on my face I rolled the windows up jammed out to some 90's rock and proceded to work. I think this thing is only going to get more and more now that I know its potential. Thanks for listening to my rants, now I'm headed over to the Intro thread. I'll try and figure out how to post pics in the next few days
