I haven't slept a good nights sleep in literally a month now (even worse this last week with a newborn waking up in the wee hours of the night). I won't go into detail, but life has been quite hectic around my world.

My birthday being tomorrow I wanted to treat myself by driving my Z into work. So I got it out of storage today and drove it around. From the begining of it firing up on the first try to that deep raw cackle letting of the throttle staying in gear on the first deceleration, it was the exact bliss I needed (while I thrashed to some heavy metal :metal:).

I drove into town to renew my drivers license as it expires tomorrow. Like any knowledgeable car guy I parket way out where there was nothing around but lots of empty parking spaces. Then when I came back outside I see this.

:D Out of all the parking spots he could have taken, he parks it RIGHT next to CALL911. lol

Anyways, as countless times before, my old LT1 has put a smile on my face that nothing else could have. I guess its that special bond between car guy and car that we all share on here. But many times we don't hear it enough, so I thought I would share with you all.

(sorry for the lack of quality picture, but it was taken from my phone)

Good stuff Ben. You know I'm busy, but if I'm not at work, I've always got time for ya buddy if you ever need to talk. P.S. expect a call from me tomorrow.

I can relate in needing to break away with a healthy distraction when things get hectic. My TA does the same for me. Any reason why the cop was there anyway? Happy Bday!

Sean, Larry, I really appreciate it. Just knowing I have good friends is all the support I need sometimes.

Its not really anything "bad". Its just I have too much going on right now, and it has me running on the ragged edge. It will get better with time. Once I am moved into the new house (once its done), and once I have some of the things done to my F-bodies that are giving me issues currently, life will be better.

blackbirdws6, lol, I have no idea why he was there. I just found it hilarious that he felt the need to park right next to the fast car with CALL911 on the license plate.

My pleasure bro... We as a community dont need to see eye to eye on everything to be there for one another in times of "need."

You know where to find me.... ;)

Well buddy, I'm hoping to be able to help out with one of those things in a few weeks. And while We're visiting, maybe we'll drag ya out for a cold one and some boomhauer talk.

Today I stopped by and looked at my Trans Am with no 12 Bolt or any rear, then stopped by and looked at pieces of my motor sitting on a table at HKE, then I looked at all the boxes in my garage of parts for the 93. If this thing gets done, it's going to be a pretty killer street car, 700RWHP, a/c, six speed, Fikses, full suspension, fresh paint and a redone interior to like new. If it doesn't, I'll have one massive part out post.
