Got a smoking deal on the new FAST XFI 2.0

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a76/bigjoelster/cars/p_00651.jpg

This is part number 301003, the new setup with internal datalogging. It sells at Jegs/Summit for around $1807-$1810ish. I made a post on yb asking if anyone was a dealer and I got a bunch of pm's. I simply said that I knew there was a decent markup, and if anyone could give me a fair price that I would purchase it. I got a killer deal from a guy who owns a fabrication shop. I had to eat the credit card fee, since I didn't want to "gift" the money through paypal, I wanted the purchase to be trackable, but it was shipped to my door for $1684, and that is with a $75ish credit card fee!

Joel, you should have asked him about a group buy I would have been in for one.

Damn X2 on the group buy! Did that come with all the cables and wiring harnesses for an LT1? Are you still using the opti?

It comes with an o2 sensor, the pc cable, the o2 cable, the software and some other cable. No harness is included. Every build is sort of custom. You can purchase their main harness that will cover everything, but i'm not 100% sure what I want to do yet. I'm ditching the opti though for sure.

excuse my ignorance but how does this compare to the 24x set up? why did you chose this over that? Sorry not trying to be rude just understand the different setups so when it comes time for me to make the change I can make an informed decision on what system i go with.

Far more capable computer than a factory lsx computer. Power adder controls, boost control, real time tuning, up to a 5 bar map sensor, etc.

Joelster, I just had a conversation with Brian Macy about ditching the opti. Plan to get an XIM box if you go coils, as well as setting up a crank trigger or something.

Standard features:

HARDWARE

The XFI 2.0™ uses the latest in flash microprocessor technology to deliver a significantly faster processing speed. It processes, analyzes and adjusts four times faster than previous EFI systems. In addition, a surface mount component circuit board and billet ECU enclosure give the XFI 2.0™ superior durability. And to simplify installation, FAST™ offers engine-specific wiring harnesses with clearly labeled connections.
[color=white] SOFTWARE ADVANCES

The C-ComŽ XFI™ Windows-based software is easy to navigate and incorporates field flashable capabilities that enable you to download the latest software updates via email or directly from the FAST™ website. Stay current without ever removing the XFI 2.0™ from your vehicle.
[color=white] TECHNOLOGY

The XFI 2.0™ features Qwik Tune™ Technology that allows ECU programming without a laptop. Preprogram up to four different EFI MAPs (eg. one for daily driving, one for fuel economy, and one for racing), and select the tune-up you need with the flick of an in-car switch. Other features include on-board diagnostics, EZ Test™ Indicator Lights, five bar MAP sensing and controls for your power adder and torque converter.
[color=white] STANDARD FEATURES INCLUDE:

Built-in wide-band O2
Fully sequential and/or bank-to-bank capability
Individual cylinder correction
Fan and fuel pump control
Dynamic scaling of vectors in 2D & 3D tables
Scalable TPS, air temp, water temp and MAP calibrations
1, 2, 3 and 5 bar MAP capability
Spare user definable inputs/outputs for miscellaneous functions, such as shift light output, auxiliary fan control and EGT monitoring
Torque converter lockup control

Air conditioning wide-open throttle cutout
Boost control
Enhanced 4 stage power adder controls
Multiple calibration stored in ECU w/ switching capability
L-key function for easy steady-state table correction using wide-band O2
On-board diagnostics
Fuel and oil pressure logging
Adjustable injector timing
Multiple ignition strategies, such as HEI, DIS, TFI, Ford EDIS, IPU (inductive or discreet/hall effect)

Advanced features:

[color=white] Advanced Forced Induction, Power Adder & Race Controls

The advanced forced induction, power adder and race controls include two separate, fully programmable sequential rev limiters for staging or boost building with six options for activation, four priority assignments and a user selectable sequential or random mode of rev limiting.

Forced Induction Controls include: time based boost controller, user selectable fixed VE and/or fixed timing for boost building and staging repeatability
Progressive Power Adder Controls include: configurations for both wet or dry applications, separate tables for power adder solenoid control and fuel control for perfect dry power adder tuning, user adjustable solenoid pulse frequency for optimum solenoid controllability, choice of fixed target air/fuel or standard air/fuel table for correction, and a dry power adder fuel delay in milliseconds for correcting rich spikes on activation
Internal Data Logging Controls include: separate arming input option
Intelligent Traction Control™ includes: user adjustable delay to ignore erroneous starting line activation data and separate output wire activation upon ITC triggering
[color=white] Self Learning Auto Tuning VE Table[COLOR=#DC241F]*

The Self Learning Auto Tuning VE Table is an automated process option that makes for quick and easy fuel mapping with the XFI 2.0™. However, this option can be turned off should the user prefer to do the tuning manually. The self learning mode can be also used to speedily and accurately populate a base tune and then turned off for more fine tuning or custom control by the user - it's all up to you when and how you want to use it. The C-COMŽ software features enable conditions to turn it on/off automatically and also has an overall enable/disable feature.

*XFI 2.0™ C-Com software requires suitable PC computer for use
ADDITIONAL FEATURES

User Adjustable Battery Voltage Injector Opening Correction Table
Fixed Timing "TEST" Mode: Easy verification of ignition timing accuracy
Spark vs. Coolant Temp Offset Table
User Configurable Target Air Fuel Offset Table vs. Coolant Temp Table: More accurate warm-up enrichment
User Selectable Safety Feature: Deactivates all power adder features in event of fault code.
Automatic & Manual TPS Calibration Modes
Additional Transbrake Control Features
Improved On-Board Diagnostics
Optional stuff that I bought:

[color=white] INTERNAL DATA LOGGING (IDL)

The internal memory-based data logging option gives comprehensive data from all vehicle sensors and powertrain controllers. IDL allows recording of up to 24 input channels and sensors to instantly assemble a comprehensive, real-time picture of exactly what is going on under the hood of your vehicle. It doesn't require additional hardware and is an affordable option compared to purchasing an external data logger.

I'm going old school with a good distributor for the cam signal and a crank trigger. FAST actually makes a crank trigger now that is plug and play into the 2.0 box. Coil-on-plug would be more expensive for what I want to do, plus they look like ass.
