I have been digging around the site and I am curious why is there no love for this blower? Maybe I am biased but being as I live up here at 6k altitude boost is better then NA? I realize the blower is small but after calling procharger you can squeeze 775rwhp out of them. Maybe it is just me but I am not looking for a X.XX car but rather a car I can toss around and have fun with but yet run 11.9ish range up here at denver aka the mile high track. I found a kit that is leaning on the blower and nitrous and should net me 11.9s with ease and some room left over.
I dont wanna run faster then that right now since you need a cage to go faster and I dont feel like putting in a cage just yet as I want to keep this as a mostly street car that goes for test and tune and perhaps a couple grudge runs but most throw around in the canyons. This is a full suspension car and has a short throw with heads that are ported for boost and overdrive pulleys and all the little goodies that all I was missing is boost. the guy I am talking to said he ran low 12s on blower only so 11s with heads and cam should be no issue and that would also mean I wouldn't have to run such a radical cam to make that power up here. Maybe someone on here can point out the flaw in my logic but right now going bigger would just be a waste since the GTO will be getting the turbo and be putting down the 700+ since from what i read the ls motor handles boost easier and is happier on boost then what I have read here.

the main reason alot of people don't care for the P600 is because you are right on the screaming limits of what they are capable of on a 350 cube motor. You have to spin them alot faster to get the same results of a P1 due to the lower internal step up.

Also aren't the p1 ones self contained? I know the p600b have to tap the pan. I know of a complete p600 intercooled setup I could get, but I rather build my motor for boost first. The p600 was marketed as low boost for stock engines. I do like the squeal that the p600 makes.

some of the older P1s needed to be tapped, but all the new prochargers that are "SC" models are the self contained

well I will make this short the Dbag all of the sudden thought that his setup was worth about 700 more then they are going for when i looked around used. I had a call into a buddy that has a speed shop and loves the lt1 and lsx motors and was talking to him about possible dyno time and tune costs when he said he could get me into a turbo kit for what i see as reasonable that is bolt on. that reasonable # is about 50 bucks total more then the dbag's new price is so I think that I will go turbo. I love SC as i have 2 other sc cars but I guess it is time to venture into spool land but, here is my big concern the car is a t56 car and I have heard it is hard to stay spooled on a shift car so I guess I am looking for a little insight there. either way i am hoping to see high 500s if not more and have a car with highway manners. I have a kid in a club I am in saying his turbo gp would beat a boosted lt1 any day, but then when i tell him I will be back home in august the excuses start flowing. Either way I am looking for a relatively quick spooling setup that will hold its own on the autox/ road courses as well as running 12s or better at 5280 ft altitude.

there is your little update for the time being
