Not sure if this is the right section for this , but I'm looking for info on running a motor plate. I'm going to put a LTX in my 59 Vette drag car and want to run a motor plate. I see Thunder Racing sells them, but I need to find out the width of the frame on a F-Body to see if there is enough material there to make it work in my car. So if someone is using a plate, could they tell me the width of the plates, or if someone has their motor out, could they measure the width of the frame rails?
