I think we need more detail about what is actually going on with your car. Not just my car won't start. Did it run before? did you do anything or change something recently? etc, etc.

a close friend of mine/member on here had the rotor unscrew. If i remember correctly, his fought to turn on and when it did, it would idle violently but still driveable just in an extremely poorly matter and stall occasionally. But after it stalled, it would take a few hours before it would turn back on again. During his motor swap a shop did a cap and rotor job and didn't tighten the screws down all the way, i remember it dieing numerous times following him home from the shop

If the rotor screws came totally out the car will turn but not fire. If they come loose you will have various issues like long cranks to start, misses all over the rpm range, poor idle. Either way the inside of the opti can get full of plastic shavings and crap. Also similar issues can be if the rotor tip comes off or loose. OEM Optis had plastic rivets that could break off. Of course these symptoms can also be bad icm, wires, plugs, coil, etc. Opti issues are a huge pia to diagnose. I do now have opti swaps down to under 2 hours.
