Hi Everyone: I own a 96 Camaro Z-28,383 LT-1,12.8-1 comp,solid roller,AFR 210 head,90mmT.B. on a Supervic intake,Turbo400 Trans with a brake,4:10 Moser 12bolt and 26x10 slick.

At 3300lbs with me in it, we've run a best of 10.23 @ 132.8mph. The engine had 300 passes on it and a very tired set of valve springs when we made this pass.

Plans for this season include a fresh set of valve springs, a little bigger tire 28x10.5 and standing on the tune up a little bit.

We have never been to the "Shootout", but would love to attend. I think we could be competitive in the MOD/NA class. http://ltxtech.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.png

I can't believe you fit a single plane and an elbow under the stock hood. That has got to be tight!

Welcome to the site. That definitely sounds like on stout LT1. I look forward to seeing it run at the Shootout.

Thanks for the warm welcome every body. It's about 15 degrees F with snow on the ground, racing seems about a million miles away right about now. Yes, it is a very tight fit with the stock hood, in fact it has some minor dents in it where the previous owner massaged it a bit to make it fit.

I have some questions about the Mod/NA class regarding race weight and engine management system. Maybe I should ask this in the rules section? I have owned the car for the past 2 years and have been pleasantly surprised at how quick it is. The engine was built back in '07 by Wade Stevens at Maximum Performance in Toronto, Ontario and has proven to be very durable.

As far as attending the Shootout, I've got a lot of work to do as at the moment I don't even have a passport. I would like to get a group of like-minded Canucks from Ontario in order to make the trip and travel together, it would be a blast.
