Little worried....

By no means am i saying ive been ripped off......yet. Ive recently purchased an Intake Manifold from VERZ, payment sent on the 12th. Since then ive heard absolutely nothing....ive sent him quite a few messages on here and emailed him once or twice. Now i dont want to say he's a bad person or start bashing on him. Maybe he's sent it already and it will be here tomorrow, maybe hes not been online in awhile or is having more important personal issues going on, and if thats the case it would not bother me the slightest. i would just like to hear something to ease the worry. I just hope im prematurly...lol....worrying when i dont have to. But this is my first time puchasing off a forum, and hopefully it wont be the last :(

Hoping for the best for you, VERZ and the sale. It appears he was last on LTx 1-15-12. Hopefully you paid with PayPal. If so, you should be covered by the buyer protection. Sometimes people skip going on line for a week or two. I'm guilty of it. Either way, hope everything works out!

I got someone on here who said they will buy a part from me. We exchanged paypal info and he even asked me to request for payment on paypal. I have sent 3 request so far and he hasnt been online since the 6th I think.

Still no payment from him, kinda sad ; (

well a little update.....messaged him on ls1tech and he responded there, said that he sent it like 2 weeks ago, messaged him again and he said he was going to the post office to try and track the package :(. im really hoping that its just a mishap with the post office......but i think we all know better. Im just a little too hopeful in humanity to keep there word i guess. I mean, its all we really have right? or thats how i was raised atleast......ugh..... i did pay with paypal so i guess ill start checking with that. I was just really hoping to give him the benifit of the doubt :(

The post office sucks for tracking. UPS and FedEx have much better tracking info.

Sounds a little fishy to me. I hope it turns out good for you but from the way it sounds I think youve been GOT. Thats the only thing bad about buying stuff off forums.....Ive never had any trouble but I still get nervous every time I do. Good luck

COntact Paypal... and make record with them.... you dont have to take action immediatley, so he wont know right away, but you will have it documented.....

Id give it another week, then go full BORE with paypal dispute....

thanks for the opinions guys, yea i realized when he said he sent the package a week ago, first thought after reading that...F**K! Thank you popo for that, this is my first time using paypal or buying off a forum, and i will do that ASAP. Just sucks, even though my post count conflicts it, im on here EVERY day, first app i click when i pick up my phone-LTX, my homepage on my comp-LTX, and i just feel the "family" vibe while here, which makes me a little more trusting than i would normally be. But i am on here enough to get a feel for the people i could Actually trust, so i guess ill just wait for one of you to sell what i need lol

Paypal will always side with the buyer, we learned this the hard way and WE being the sellers actually got ripped off....anyway over christmas I had ordered something and it took over a month to get to me, I called paypal and filled them in after about 3 weeks they told me to wait a little longer and call back and they would continue my claim.....but thankfully it came :) Best of luck.......
