Hey gang, I decided to come over here finally and see how it was. I gotta say, I love seeing fellow LT1 enthusiasts all gathered. I'm sure I'll recognize some of you from ls1tech and cz28. Anyways, I'm a mechanical engineer for a refinery/chemical plant compressor OEM. I've had my '96 for about 8 years now (and has 130k on the clock), and she is my pride and of course my daily driver. Still gives me a smile every time I climb in. Some plans are in the making, a Procharged 383 is soon to be exchanged in. I'm building the drive train/suspension to handle the power now. Yay for LT1 SS's. Glad to convince you to register bro. Now you just need to come to the shootout next May and test out your new rear/trans. :p

You do realize that if you painted your car white, and ditched the grille, our cars would be almost identical.

Similar stance, same wheels, etc.

I mean don't get me wrong I realize mine's better because it has a 6 speed and '97 interior.
