Ok Im stuck on this one. I have searched many different forums including this one and found tons of advice and tried some of it, but still i have a problem. So here it is my car only starts when it is overnight cold runs great until it warms up to operating temp then dies and will not restart. I have read tons of people having this problem so I just started with the simple fixes 1st. I have replaced the optispark cap and rotor but not the opti sensor, the harness pluging into the opti, the ICM, water pump temp sensor, and MAF sensor. At 1st I thought this might be fuel related so I replaced the fuel pump relay and fuel filter also I check the fuel pressure and it stays at 41 PSI when the car dies so i don't think it is the fuel pump. Any help here would be really helpful. I about to replace the coil just to be sure it isn't that.
Thank you very much for your help

Check and see if you have spark once/as it dies. That can at least point you in a direction

I did check the spark from the coil wire and after the car dies I have no spark from the coil. I have also checked to see if the PCM was sending the right voltage to the ICM and if the info I got from shbox.com was correct I'm getting 4 ac volts from the PCM to the ICM and still no spark from the coil. I'm starting to think it is the coil and since it is under warranty I'm going to replace it. Also to make matters worse my new water pump started leaking from the top pressed on fitting and dripped coolant on the Optispark so to be certain I'm having the water pump replaced as well and will replace the opti while I'm in there. So after all this is replaced and having spend too much money on this project as is what else could cause this to happen? Could the VATS system have something to do with it or could my PCM be going bad when it gets hot?
Thanks for any help

My car dies sometimes when it reaches operating temperature. When it starts it sometimes throws an ses light but my pcm won't let the mechanic read the codes. Yours sounds like my issue except it starts back up right after. Sometimes it'll fight me, I think mines pcm related

That's another thing I forgot to mention is my car never throws a SES code, but thats still does not rule out a PCM problem.
