launch on a stock verter

what is the best method?
raise the RPM's till it wants to spin and drop the brake?

or

floor it from idle ?

tires are hot and sticky nitto NT-01's. I am trying to get a my first 1.9 or 1.8 60' so far it is a 2.001.

i dont know with those tires but on the street with street tires i always try to not smash it but sort of quickly roll into it and i always seem to spin the least (if thats possible on street tires) and pull the best with that method, i have stock suspention and stock size street tires

when i was running the stocker i would bring the RPM a lil above idle and mash it from there on green

oh and the best 60' was a 1.99 on 18" pepboy tires
