View Full Version : Fuel line question 94z

Okay so I am new to this forum and fairly new to lt1 engines. I was looking at my fuel line and noticed it had three lines. Two of which connect to the injectors and the other one is just randomly hanging out in the open but no fuel comes out, so my question is, is it just a vac line or what? Thanks guys.

WELCOME!!!

That should be the vent tube. That vents the fuel tank. IIRC it should connect to the EVAP solenoid on the passenger side of the intake.

Sounds like it should go to the canister in the fender. I'm not %100 sure about f bodys but I trust Shbox

That line should go to the charcoal canister, its part of the evaporative purge system. There should be a vacuum tube connected to it that runs under the tb over to the passenger side of the intake into a solenoid mounted between the number 4 and 6 injectors. There should be another vacuum line coming from that solenoid going to the tb itself.
