Alright I have a few friendly races lined up in the next coming weeks. The only car Im slightly worried about it is my friends 300c. He inherited it from his dad who had a few great running cars.(one being a 500+rwhp terminator).

Its a later model 300c with the automatic and 5.7. He says hes got a cold air intake, catback, and a tune. He ran my other buddy who has a 92 TPI 350 Camaro with a catback, and he pulled bus lengths on him. How fast are these big family cars. Ive seen they can run 13s with a few bolt ons, but to pull as hard as he did on that camaro I'm a little worried.

EDIT: Race is not going to happen. His buddy who has ridden in my car must have scared him or something. lol. He says he wants to get more mods before we race, so who knows what will happen.

They can be quick, but they're HEAVY. I bet it's pushing 300-340 RWHP on the thing though.......so you might want to watch out. I think you could get him, but it could also go the wrong way.

Well I raced my buddies 92 RS today. We went from a dead stop and I shut it down at 90, and was bus lengths ahead. I felt bad for him. Im gonna try to help him see if something is wrong with it. He said he just replaced the plugs and wires, we are probably going to start off by deleting the cat and checking fuel pressure. From what he said I pulled him a lot faster and harder than the 300c, so Im pretty confident now.

Also, Im learning to launch my car better. Thanks to the "Launching the T56" thread on here Im not dumping the clutch too fast and Im slipping it getting pretty decent launches with my Cheap 275s.

EDIT: I did some diagnostics on the Camaro today. I found a major problem with it. What he says is a 350 is a TBI 305. lol.
