Well guys some reality just came up today. I work in the roofing industry and as you all know the economy has not been good at all. And it's going to get worse before it gets better. I've been here at my job for the last 7 years and 15 years with our compeditor but I feel that I may be on my way out. I know a lot people who work for our compeditors who have, like me, worked half of their lifetime in this industry who have been laid off or let go. People you thought would be here forever. I'm talking about 10, 15 and 26 years working for the same company!!! My boss has been acting weird cause I feel that our time has come and she must now make a decision. She didn't say in so many words and she didn't have to. Since I don't have a computer at home you may not hear from me for a while. Lets hope for the best!!! :no:

Something similar just happend to me. I worked in siding the past 3 years and this past year was the slowest out of the last 15 years my boss said. Since I get paid hourly, I decided to leave that job because I just wasn't getting work and I decided to join the military.
