I am at the point of selling or fixing up my 94 Z28. I dont drive it hardly and it just sits in my garage. 400 miles in the past two years. So I have decided to jump in with both feet and tear it down and give it a makeover. Should be a reality show. I will add the progress as I go. I am new to posting so please be patient and I only work on it when I can. I have a lot of pics but will post a little at a time. Thanks and this forum is great, just love the LTX cars. This is what I am starting with. Car has been babied but it is not perfect (yet).

So far I have removed the motor and trans and have started cleaning and painting the under side of the car and the engine bay with more pics. I have been taking ideas from other posts and it has helped so much.

Looking for a set of 5 spoke SS / ZR1 rims/tires and would be willing to trade my ten spoke SS rims with new tires? Picture of SS rims/tires are above. I like them but would like to clone a 97 SS look. Would like to do a local trade in northwest Indiana or not to far of drive. Thanks.

Finally got the engine compartment clean and ready to be painted. I thought it was clean until everything came out. I want to put the battery in the rear and hide some of the wiring. Would also like to remove the AC/Heater box and just have heat. No AC anyway. Would also like to get a Stinger or Dick Harrell style hood. Basically I want a lighter hood. Anyone have one in northwest indiana for sale?

Finally got the painting done and starting to reassemble. I somehow lost pictures of the painting which sucks. Hopefully if all goes well I will have it done soon. Next is to install motor and trans.

I'll probably have my VFN sunoco for sale here. They told me the stock hood struts wouldn't be a problem but it left little creases in the hood on the outside where they mount. Would be an easy fix for someone who knows how to do fiberglass. LMK if you're interested. I gotta get a replacement before I can sell it though. It's also painted red which is perfect for you... and its like 13 lbs I believe.

I would be interested in that. Love that hood. Could be a fun trip-I need to get out of town for a day. Keep me posted. Thanks!

Finally got the motor back in and starting to reassemble engine bay. Hopefully I can hide some of this wiring.

There should be a wire mod tutorial somewhere. I've been wanting to do it for a while now too... just no time.. no garage anymore.. and no tools...

Yeah i have seen and read that and should attempt it but I also want to get rid of the fuel lines and go with some after market ones. Why Chevrolet ran them that way is unknown to me just like the new Camaro with the hoses running over the intake. If aftermarket companies can make it look better why wouldnt Chevy? My car is like my Harley when it comes to upgrades- How much? $100. My awesome wife told me yesterday that she was just givin me cash so I could get my car done. Never heard that before. Of course she knows how much I love that car. Just not as much as her.
