So......did some tuning today. Cold start tuning. Getting on the right track thanks to SRZ and his help. I've got it NOT stalling on initial start now....it needed TONS more enrichment. But it long cranks now too so I've got to probably back off the cranking fuel now. Bit by bit. I can't get the iac to open past 160 tyough the table is set for 200.....so I think that's a big part of why I can't get a 900+ idle off the bat now. More to come.

Also......well.....see below.

Blew another pipe off the car today at 225 map per my log. Blew it all the way off the car and she went for a ride. Lost a t bolt and the pipe and coupler are beat up. I need welded and bead rolled pipes dammit....lol. And now I'm home....no garage....and its raining. F-ing awesome...lol.

Damn man sorry to see that but at least your getting there, i was planning on having my cold side all welded and some v-flanges so i don't do this ^.

Its all good. Pipe is back on the car and yes, I did it in the rain. Tightened up some clamps that had loosened a bit too. The tunin part is what my biggest concern is.

So did my suggestion work w/ that table in the tune? You work at a auto shop, maybe they got something to tie you over until you get those bead welds in. Glad you're making progress. I made progress on mine today too. Figured out I had no resistors in the CAN LINK for the XIM so now I've got covered and she's ready to fire 1st thing in the morning. Once I see how she responds I'll put my new CC ultra pro mags on and be good to go. Then off to the dyno to finish working on the tune. After that, hibernation until LTX 2012!

Your tables were the exact starting point I needed man!!!! First shot I had the CTS temp correction table open and when I tanked in the fuel she came right alive. I'm working on my AE correction tables too as I've got a slight stumble off idle on a hard blip that's already gotten much better. Just a little more polishing to go.

Best of luck with your car tomorrow man!!!

Good luck Silas!

Sean, +1 on getting a solid weld setup. Keep up the persistance, and I am confident you'll get it there.

Man that sucks... Bet that scared the crap out of you when it let go...

Hard to see in the pic, but at the edge of the pipe you only need like a half inch long bead of weld (put it in 4 places - 12, 3, 6, and 9 O'clock positions). This is enough to prevent popping off.

Sean, looks like there are more tables to be reversed. Just heard back from Cal and he said nearly every table involving coolant temp will need to be updated. Most have to be reversed. For example: Idle speed vs coolant temp, cranking fuel, IAC start position, afterstart vs coolant temp, AE Coolant enrichment, etc.. will all need to be reversed. So i got to do the same for mine as well. May be why she backed fired on me yesterday trying to start it, my battery was toast too so you know w/ not enough voltage the XFI is poo-poo. Picking up the battery this afternoon and trying again.

Nah, I just remembered some needed reversing but I didn't know which ones or that it was all of them. LOL Maybe my crap will star now. he-he......
