All race aside, I am very uneasy with Obama being elected. Several things factor into why he got the votes he did: well run campaign by the democratic organization, demographics (YES, I'm not afraid to say it, there is a steep demographic advantage on his side), and the fact that the media latched on to him like I've never seen. But sadly, I don't feel he's prepared or ready to actually lead. I am afraid that he's going to let the cabinet do all the decision making and that he's for lack of a better term, going to be a puppet president. I personally feel that this country is going to be in for one of the most trying times we're going to face of the modern era.

And I swear on everything that if someone tries taking MY money to redistribute, I'm going to stop paying taxes all together and move to Australia.

Exactly. Too add to that, IMO, he is a horrible judge of character. Those are my biggest problems with him being president.

I am interested to see what he's going to do after he gets in office. He sure was making promises all over the board. If he sticks to that (which I'm sure he won't), maybe it won't be so bad.

I have a problem with Obama's ideas of government fixing everything. I guess I have alot more conservative views on alot of this stuff. I'm all for cutting spending and having a smaller government, myself. It seems that when government is more than willing to give a helping hand, more people abuse the privilege than those who truly need it. The government should be the ABSOLUTE LAST place people to go to, and only if they have exhausted all other options.
