I went to track last thursday. The car is a 1995 camaro z28 with a cc503 (224/230 .510/503 1.5rr), 1.6rr comp magnums, k&n cai, 58mm tb, new valvetrain and the heads and intake were gasket matched along with the intake to the tb. I swapped the 4l60e for a t56 and i have 3.23 gears. It has a mail order tune by madz.I ended up running a dismal 13.5 @ 101 with a 1.9 60 ft. I was 8.76 @ 82.2 at the eighth. These times seemed lower than what they should have been to me. I did put in 87 octane instead of 93 because i was broke and thats what i had in the garage. And i had 27 inch slicks on my car, and that probably made the gear more like a 3.00. How much do you think the combination of that affected my time? Next week i will be running 93 octane and 315/35/17 DRs. Thanks to all who contributes their thoughts and predictions for next week.

times do seem a bit on the low side, i think u should be trapping a few more mph higher, get that 60ft down a little and run some 93 and see what happens

Yeah a 4.10 is next on my list. Ricer math tells me thats worth about half a second. I was launching at 5k rpm and only got a 1.9 60 ft? It was fun At the least. I just hope i can save up enough for a gear before it gets too cold! I shouldnt have even posted this thread until i ran on 93 octane. Didnt go yesterday due to rain. Ill post what i run and a video thursday, its supposed to be great out.

Whats the DA at the track your at? What elevation? Down in MO, our track is around 500 ft above sea level. A typical bolton car with DR's here runs 12.6-7. A mild cam car runs 12.1-3
