I realized i posted this in the wrong section, when i was looking for the racing section it didnt pop up until today for some reason but anyway this is a repost in the appropriate section

Me and a friend who's also a member on this forum went to our local track, it's only an 1/8th mile but it's better than driving to darlington or fayetteville. The best i got today was 1/8th 8.94 81.9mph 60ft 2.18. The only mods i have is an intake, headers and an x pipe. Also little to no track experience. That run was with cutouts closed, now with them open i ran a 1/8th 8.96 81.3mph 60ft 2.18 and had a better reaction time than with them closed. Let me know what you guys think for a noob at the track

I think its pretty good seeing is how your new to the strip. Makes me feel a lil better about myself seeing as how I just got into racing too.

best time is a 8.87 at around 79ish. and we are about the same mods. I just have true dual headers and a moroso CAI.

Auto/manual?
