I Just wanted to say thanks to EVERY ONE. Why might you ask? If I have questions silly, technical, or general I get honest answers from yall. There have been threads on here about every thing under the sun for advice on car stuff to how to handle a hard break up. I have not been here as long as some of the "wise elders/founders" but I get treated with the respect as if I have. That is what keeps me coming back many times every day. I want to know the moment that some one has a thread that comes up where I can, as a close friend puts it, "pay it forward". I have learned a lot about firebird's and camaro's on here but I did know that at the same time I was (and still am) learning about how to be a respectable member of my community and all around better man.
If you have ever felt the same way as I do, please, take a moment and say a simple thanks. It could be directed to some one or just a general thanks to all. I will start it off.
I am going to direct this to several member on the board who have helped me a lot with my car and tons more advise. Yall know who you are.
Thank you.

i can not agree more! there are great people on here! for the guys that have helped me thus far with the planing of my new build (you guys know who you are), i can not thank you guys enough, and with in the next 2 months when i get "The Slow Turd" build underway i know there are people willing to help me out with questions. but this community as a hole is awesome, the countless emails back and forth with Loyd Elliott and Clayton Racing. i try to share my knowledge with others when i can but even being a mechanic, there is still plenty of performance tech that is over my head. i just hope i can make it out to the shootout some day to actually meet every one.

You guys should come out to the LTX Shootout if you want to see how tight the community really is. Anyone that had a problem, instantly there were tool boxes and mechanics right there. Right in the hotel parking lot. Beers galore, 60-100 people, helping each other get their rides dialed in. It didn't matter what class you were in, your competitors would jump right in and lend a hand. Thats just the way it is. No hostility, no grudges, nothing. A super cool group of enthusiasts!

Its the reason the site was founded, LS1tech always had the people who would troll the LTX forums just to troll. Saying stuff like "should of bought an LS1, HAHA!"...
Thats not advice, thats just being a dick to be one.
So we came here, and made a site where nothing like that would happen. That, and we seemed to end up with the best of the best community wise. Everyone here is cool.

This is my favorite forum also. I just wish we could get more traffic here somehow.

We have a pretty good following for such a specific car site. Almost 5,000 members, and we really have not been around all that long.
That, and being able to be the title sponsor for the LTXShootout.... Thats not too bad...

Please dont take it the wrong way. The site is GREAT! I know that if you get too big, you end up like LS1tech with trolls crawling around in every thread, but I think there is always room for more members. :peace2:

Oh no, definitely not taken the wrong way. Any site like this could always use more traffic, and we would be one of them.
I know exactly what you mean, and I'm sure everyone here would appreciate more people on the site. And I think with the staff here, and the way this place is run, there won't ever be problems on here like at LS1tech.com. It just got out of control there, and basically got worse from there.

More traffic wil come as more people work on their projects. Some clubs slow down in the summer anyway. I dont think we will ever be like the other place cause no only do the admin and mods do a great job, the members here have a good way of dealing with issues too. I know I have been vocal on some BS threads and even got a little tired of some of the "trollish" like questions by some people. As long as we police ourselves and let managment know of any issues we will be fine. The funny part of the LTx platform is they are cheap enough now for youngings to buy but been around long enough for us old guys that love the platform to impart our knowlege to not only the noobs but to us old guys that need help. I think that is what makes LTx special. For only a 5 year run there are alot of die-hards still out there and a lot of data and info available, and this place has it all.

I couldn't have worded it any better, Zooguy. The Shootout is a great opportunity to meet everyone and hang out.
We really are a big family, that's what makes it the best.
