Alright, so a little backround before I dive into the topic.
A little over 2 years ago, I tore up my knee really badly. Long story short, after two surgeries including replacing the medial meniscus (think of it like a shock absorber in your knee, and you'll have the basic idea of it's function) by cadaver-graft, my knee still wasn't good enough for me to continue on in the Marine Corps as a Field Artillery Cannon Crewman. So they put me on a Physical Evaluation Board to determine if I am fit or unfit to continue service.
Fast forward to today, and the results have come back. I have an appointment in about a half hour to review and sign the findings if they are too my liking. This will tell me if I am fit or unfit, and if found unfit, how much disability I will rate through the VA.
I'm really excited about this, as I have been in limbo for the last two years, bouncing from shop to shop because the battalion didn't really know what to do with a broke gun rock. Finally, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, now I just hope it's not a damned freight train aiming to run my ass over lol
