last time i was at this track i ran a 14.180 ... car had arcing plug wires, a tranny that would bounce on the rev limiter, 2.73's, and street tires.
now car has: CAI, smooth elbow, 52mm holly, TB-bypass, 160* stat, hooker LT headers, 3"ORY, 3" cutout, fresh rebuild on the tranny/ shift kit, 3.42's, nittos NT555R.
place your bets!!!!!!!:D

Day by day... I just dont want to see you disapointed because the tune is not squeezing the full potential out of your set up.... thats all, you know I just bust you beans.....

^^ Agree with popo.. i ran 13.2 with less mods M6 3.23 rear car, but I was tuned for the mods. I predict 13.6ish. A quick mail order would be a good idea. with the lt's and 52mm tb your fueiling could be off and in a bad spot. Holly 52 mm tbs are notorious for split BLMs and poor TPS adjustment. I know, I fought mine for a while. I was running dangerously lean without the correct tune. Last time un-tuned onthe dyno I made 315hp/350tq but at 17.5 AFR at tip in and never went below 16 even at WOT. Dyno operator was scared to run it. With the right tune I would have been over 325 Hp he said. Also right after the dyno day my problems with the weird noise that made me have to pull the engine began.

back from the track ... and we have a winner ... the tracks DA was 3477... not sure what that means but ... i was kinda disappointed in the best time ... Vegvisir (http://ltxtech.com/forums/member.php?925-Vegvisir) you are the winner my best run was 13.857 @ 100.55 mph
WTF happened ... i did all the mods in my sig and i only gained .3 sec?

best pass
60'----------2.011
330'---------5.836
1/8----------8.946
mph---------78.99
1000'--------11.614
1/4----------13.857
mph---------100.55
track DA was 3477 this time
one year ago 7/24/2010 the DA was 2498 and my best pass was a 14.18 @ 100.70 MPH
i know weather can chance how a car runs at the track but is it that big of a difference?
i did however get better at my RT with a best of .011 and an average of .060 ... how i stage is i get the first light on and i creep as slow as possible till the second lights come on ... i think that is called shallow staging?

When did you last run your car?
DA and Temp play a big part in 1/4 times. Thats why you should look up the DA at the particular time and do a conversion. Its sometimes the only way you will truly see the fruits of your labor. In AZ, Firebird Raceway is only 1200ft above sea level, yet the DA is always around 2200 feet. So we run slower times, almost .5 second slower than better locations. Look into DA conversions, it will make you feel better. Food for thought, the colorado guys with like 8000 elevation run almost a 1.5 seconds slower than people at 500ft elevation with similar mods.
My old Formula ran a 14.3@95 bone stock in October. With full exhaust and and gutted ram air it ran a 13.9@99 in December.

Thanks, but at the time, I wasn't too happy with that time. I wanted a 13.6@102 because everyone else on the club sites were running those times with full exhaust. But thats when i started paying attention to D/A. Knowing what I know now, I no longer leave the track pissed at my times. Its all in the density altitude.
And comparing winter to summer times will drive you crazy. Its best to mod and race in the winter and early spring, and just upkeep and do appearance stuff in the summer and early fall. Best of both worlds.
Anyway, stepping down from my soap box.

So are you going to get a tune now? Moe, pcmforless, or Solomon can get damn close with your setup. I have worked with Solomon and pcmforless in the past with great results from both.
