I searched all over and did not find anything about this,d so I figured I would post this up.
Im in the process of replacing my steering rack. Previous one had leaky seals and torn boots. So i order another steering rack,it arrives quickly, great condition. I install it and go to hook up the steering shaft to the the rack and its not having any of it. Wont clear the header(hooker longtubes) any which way I try. Im baffled so i pull the new rack out and set it next to the old one(probably should have done this in the beginning) and that's when I can see the difference.

I did some research and found there's 2 different suspension types (f41 and fe2) I forget what the difference of the suspension is but the steering rack part that the steering shaft connects to is angled slightly more towards the drivers side on the f41. The fe2 is more vertical. So i looked at my rpo codes and there it is fe2. The rack I had ordered was for cars with f41. So if your replacing your rack just make sure that you get the correct one for your car
