Cars getting close to finished but the rear suspension kind of concerns me. It's stiff as hell it used to bounce but there's little movement when i push on it now. Suspension list is comp 3 way shocks, spohn tunnel mount torque arm, spohn drag bar, spohn panhard bar, eibach drag springs, moser 9" and some boxed non adj lca's, and lca relocation brackets. Should it be as stiff as it is or what is holding it up? I feel like the drag sway bar might not be set right or something. any ideas?

When I revamped my whole rear, I went with:

Koni AGX fully adjustable shocks
UMI tunnel mount TQ arm
Spohn rear sway bar
UMI non-adjustable LCA's
UMI adjustable panhard
UMI SFC's
Stock springs
Moser 12 bolt

The suspension stiffness difference was night and day. I thought maybe something was wrong too, but it's just a much better setup than worn out stock components. Don't second guess yourself. Take it out for a drive. You'll notice right away whether it's just stiff, or something is actually wrong.

Drag cars are supposed to be stiff. As Madman says "Girls squat race cars dont."

alright figured it'd be stiff but didn't expect it as stiff as it is

what does squat have to do with compression stiffness?

On the stock swaybar I was at L-4 R-6 on SA QA1s. Tried going 5-7 and it lost .03' in the 60'. That was on 28x12.50 ET Streets. I think with a stiffer sidewall you can go stiffer on the compression since the tire doesn't wrap up so much. Rebound depends on the track conditions. Higher rebound settings lessen the initial hit of the tire, but the chassis will react faster (less body/axle movement), lower rebound settings will hit the tire harder initially. This is where a dual adjustable rear shock comes into play as you can tune both the initial hit and chassis settling. I dunno how those comp engineering shocks work, just had my hands on afcos and qa1s.

My car stiffened up quite a bit when I went from stock shocks/struts to my new Comp Eng drag shocks/struts. I don't know if it helped my 60' at all yet since I don't have a local track anymore.
