finally got the beast out to the track on saturday. i borrowed a set of slicks, because i knew it wasn't going to hook at all on street tires from a dig.

1st pass - didn't heat the tires up enough. i spun bad. 2.24 60' 13.5 @ 109mph. the NE GT in the other lane went a 13.44 @ 106mph (unknown mods)

2nd pass - against SRT8 Charger. got the tires heated up this time. 60' improved by quite a bit. launched at 3k rpm, truck hooked and proceeded to rip off a 12.87 @ 108mph on a 1.82 60' to his 13.01 @ 107mph.

3rd pass - against a 1st gen Talon TSI. 12.91 @ 108mph, 1.9 60'. he broke.

4th pass - against '93 Cobra TT. i ran my best of the night, 12.78 @ 109mph, 1.81 60'. the Cobra killed me. 8.82 @ 169mphhttp://camaroforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_imnotworthy.gif i felt like i was sitting still at the light lol

funny thing is how slow it is in the 1/8th. best was a leisurely 8.61 @ 81mph. by that time though, i've gotten into 6th gear. the last 1/8th is a one gear pull:devil:

What all is done to the truck. I know of a lot of diesels around here with power programmers that think they can outrun anything.

thats moving though for a big truck. Id love to run those times in my car. lol.

dyno tuned using EFILive, Southbend triple disc clutch, 4" turbo back straight pipe. and that's pretty much it. stock turbo, stock injectors, stock IC.

oh and ready to crap a brick??? this is my truck.

That is too funny. Im guessing a short wheelbase truck with a regular bed would go low 12s with just your mods. How does a power programmer compare to a dynotune.

i had an ATS E-tuner (handheld tuner) on the truck before, and i can say right now it's making more power with the dyno tune using EFILive than with the handheld. by more than 60rwhp.

YFZ, i ran a stock '02 WS6 a couple of weeks ago, 15-112mph pull. i had him by half a car up top, and i was still pulling till i hit my rev limiter:face_shocked:

You're a bit dyslexic, but I'll let it slide.

You need videos of the battle tank whooping said sports cars.

A lot of the fast diesels around here are nice models and you kind of expect them to roll out. The work truck is a classic haha.
