Has anyone done this? I put new speakers in the whole car. Pulled all the panels, etc. But when it came to the front door, I followed the "accorden" type gromet between the door and the A pillar, pulled the kick panel and was trying to find where the door wires go. Seems like those wires just disappear. Do I really need to pull everything out from around the steering column just to get to the drivers side door wiring? What about the passenger side? After the experience trying the drivers side, I have not attempted the passengers side yet.

I used some coat hanger to fish it through the accordion grommet. It it tight. I had to take all the stuff under the dash apart on both sides. Even the trim that runs along the door opening and up the kick panels.

(Sigh......) I was afiaird of that. I just hope I don't mess anything up doing that. From that last time I had everything else apart in the car, I kinda figured that all that stuff under the dash would need to be worked around or come out. On a side note, from taking apart this car, I was really inpressed with the build quility of mine, for being a 1994 and the technonlgy and buildng methods/materials that GM would use at that time. It acutally was very well made from what I can tell. Thanks for the tip. When I do this later this year, I will get pictures and post back to this thread for others.

I am in the same boat, I put alpine type s speakers in the door but they distort when I go past 50% volume. That is because of the bose amp, So I need to run new wire as well.

I put in all new speakers a few years ago and like jaysz2893 said I used a hanger and pulled it through the factory rubber tube. Access isn't that great but it's the only way to do it so the wires aren't exposed.
