im putting together a na 383 lt1 and will retune the constant but will the 42's be to much for the pcm?

Oh, no. 42s will be fine. You have to find the conversion formula though. it ends up equating out to 43.XX.

And remember, 42lb SVO injectors are rated at ford fuel pressure of 39 psi.

SVO's are also very old tech (Bosch II from the 80's) you may want to check out my sale going on in the sponsor sales department on Bosch III's if you have not already bought them.
